Dump Trailer Rental Prices in Naperville

Dump trailer rental is usually priced by the day, with lower per-day rates for weekends and full weeks. Your total depends on how long you keep the trailer, whether you pick it up or have it delivered, and what you pay at the facility where you dump.

What the daily rate covers

The daily rate is for use of the trailer for a 24-hour rental period. Longer rentals such as a weekend or a full week are priced to be cheaper per day than renting day by day. We quote the exact daily, weekend and weekly rate, any deposit, the delivery fee and the late-return policy before you book.

What is not included in the rental rate

• Dump or disposal fees. Landfills and transfer stations charge for what you unload, usually by weight or by the load.
• Fuel for your tow vehicle and the trip to the dump.
• Cleaning or repair if the trailer comes back damaged or loaded with material that wasn't allowed.

Trailer or dumpster, which costs less?

A roll-off dumpster is delivered and hauled away for you, which is convenient but usually priced with a flat fee plus extra for weight over the limit. A dump trailer rental costs a flat daily rate, but you do the hauling and pay the dump fee yourself. For smaller and mid-sized projects, or heavy material like dirt and brick, the trailer is often the cheaper route. For a large multi-week cleanout where you don't want to drive, a dumpster can make more sense.

Some municipalities also require a permit to place a dumpster on a public street. Check with your village or city before you order one. A trailer you keep on your own driveway generally avoids that question, though you should still check HOA rules.
